Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst - Axon Ivy based in Watford or Amstelveen
The Axon Ivy Business Analyst will work within the REMEA IT Axon Ivy team and be responsible for supporting Workflow projects being developed using our AxonIvy BPA & Worklow platform, assisting all parts of the business. This position is part of the Enterprise Solution Development and Delivery team working across REMEA to enhance and support the business as we undertake significant strategic initiatives across IT. Candidates will have experience of working with various stakeholders and project sponsors to deliver workflow solutions.
A significant part of the role will be to learn about a new Business Process Automation platform that Ricoh has acquired, Axon Ivy, and to understand it’s capabilities, strengths and weaknesses. No prior experience with this platform in particular is necessary, however the candidate should be able to demonstrate other relevant experience using similar product knowledge to augment the creation of practical and feasible user requirements that feed in to the Product Backlog for the development team.
Exposure to other workflow platforms including Sharepoint and ServiceNow is desirable, as this role will cover multiple technologies and the candidate should feel comfortable recommending the correct platform where possible to achieve the desired outcome, however the main focus will be with Axon Ivy and supporting that development team.
What you will be doing
The role will involve working with users across the entire business to ensure that development teams receive requirements that can be understood. The candidate should be able to demonstrate prior experience generating process documents and reports, and have experience of BPMN to assist with the definition of requirements.
Time will be given, and training will be provided, for the candidate to acquire in-depth knowledge of the AxonIvy product, with access to the platform creators and technical teams to assist, while working closely with the internal AxonIvy development team in Ricoh to understand the current solutions that have been developed. Following this, the BA Candidate should possess knowledge to help business users define their requirements and then make recommendations over the potential to use AxonIvy for the solution. Platform capabilities and how it functions will determine if it is the correct tool to use.
As a Subject Matter Expert in workflow applications and AxonIvy, this role provides insights and recommendations to support best practice and continuous improvement into the heart of the processes and applications. It is key that both the current and future needs with Ricoh Family Group are met, enabling continuous process improvement, alongside process and financial compliance and adoption.
Knowledge of the Atlassian product suite for documenting stories, organising testing plans, code management and deployment is essential. The AI team use Confluence for the product backlog and this role will be responsible for managing the content around various projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Become a Subject Matter Expert in new java-based technologies, most notably the recent Ricoh acquisition of Axon Ivy
- Workflow development: This can be a completely new build, or a deep dive into an existing workflow to upgrade/update
- Provide operational and troubleshooting support to a priority set of workflows
- Take responsibility for key parts of Ricoh Europe’s workflow solutions
- Be able to support business teams in a technical role in areas such as requirements, development, system functionality, project critical paths.
- Develop skills in additional toolsets to provide value across REMEA IT
- Assist the business with Functional Requirements and make recommendations for the correct platform to use to deliver the Technical Solution
You will ideally have
Knowledge:
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in multi-application development/deployment in a business environment to SME level
- Knowledge and experience of enterprise solution deployment (i.e. complex projects across geographies/organisations)
Skills:
Must have:
- Software architecture and data models
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst interpreting functional requirements, delivering technical requirements to Development Team
- Previous exposure to Atlassian product suite to document stories
- Understanding of Java and relevant web technologies
- Basic understanding of system integration (REST, SOAP, etc.)
Nice to have:
- Relational SQL databases, JPA standards like Hibernate
- Source Control Management Systems, like SVN, GIT
- Web-related technologies like bootstrap, JSF, etc.
- Advanced Java knowledge understand backend services
- Continuous integration knowledge with Maven, Jenkins
- Security standards like SAML, OAUTH
- Automated tests with JUnit, Selenium
- Container architecture, like Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience in BA roles supporting software development
- Proven workflow development experience
- Experience of testing and code management tool sets
