What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• As an integral part of the Customer Information System (CIS) Projects team, you will be responsible for the support of all CIS-related projects. You will also play a pivotal role in cross-functional projects. You will be joining a very energetic and dynamic team. This team focuses primarily on improving systems and processes to improve the customer experience and ultimately strengthen the relationship with the customer.
• Become a key touch point for the business. Functions will be turning to you as a first resource to leverage ideas for projects and day-to-day operational support.
• You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, preparing recommendations and requirements for special projects, achieving operational targets, and support key customer experience programs.
• You will develop process flows and end-to-end functional designs.
• Support the operations of cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Central Services, and I.T. groups - you will be the glue that will keep it running smoothly.
• You will gain a high degree of knowledge and exposure to the core systems at Reliance and will be working regularly with vast amounts of data.
• You will be providing weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting on progress of key business strategies; both project-based and operational.

What do you bring?

• A growth mindset: above all else, we’re looking for people who are dependable, ambitious and want to grow with Reliance
• 1-2 years’ work experience in a dynamic role with exposure to both operational and project-based responsibilities with a post-secondary degree/diploma in Business or a related field.
• Familiarity with business analysis concepts. Including, but not limited to, business planning, requirements gathering, test planning, change management processes, QA processes, and KPI monitoring.
• SQL experience including creating and updating scripts will be an asset
• Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, more specifically, with Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication with the ability to interact cross-functionally across various levels of management.
• Experience in data management is an asset.
• Experience with SAP integration and systems is an asset.
• Proven track record of identifying opportunities and seeking them through.
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, and quality.
• You are flexible, resilient, and able to respond quickly under pressure with a can-do attitude.
