Business Analyst
Up to £55,000 per annum
About the Role
The Trust has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our growing Projects and Programmes function and play a pivotal role within the team.The Trust is embarking on a large fully funded transformation strategy enabled by technology that will deliver significant benefits for our residents and employees.
The Business Analyst will be involved in the delivery of the business process improvements as part of the Trust’s transformation strategy including the delivery of the “End to End” business capabilities. Examples of projects include electronic care records, workforce transformation across the replacement of payroll and HR legacy systems; financial management with the replacement of the finance legacy system; asset management including property compliance and capital asset facilities management etc.
As Business Analyst, you’ll be involved at the heart of that transformation working with businesss teams to understand how our current processes can be transformed, understand their requirements for new systems, support them in the selection of systems to deliver our new processes and ultimately transform how our organisation works. You will support the creation of the business case and the Project Initiation Document to demonstrate the return on investment of the project and support during and post the project ensuring the benefits are realised.
About You
We’re looking for creative yet evidence-based analytical thinkers, with a strong background in supporting change across people, process and technology with the ability to elicit and document business processes. You’ll possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and be adept at facilitation. As a self-starter you’ll be happy to set and achieve your own deadlines for multiple concurrent projects. Other skills and experience required include:
- Demonstrate experience of process analysis and improvements as part of transformation projects
- Ability to support the development of a business case and support teams in ensuring the benefits are realised
- Experience of a range of modelling techniques/notations such as Use Cases, Entity Models, Data and Information Models, Process Models/Swim Lane diagrams
- Business Analysis Qualifications or equivalent experience
- Business Process Modelling/Engineering based on BPMN
- An understanding of the Business Change Life Cycle.
- An understanding of System Development Life Cycle (Waterfall, Agile)
- Strong interpersonal skills to support our diverse workforce
- Knowledge of Office 365 applications and process development tools
- Workshop facilitation
