Your role at Orbit.
Orbit are excited to announce that we are recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Business Change Team. We are looking for someone that can work on their own initiative and use their inquisitive nature to lead on business and process analysis, evaluate projects/change requests and work with the test team to translate requirements into test plans. You will need to identify and work with stakeholders to assess and develop business requirements and project plans that help to manage budgets and identify potential risks.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Stakeholder analysis
- Analyse and document business processes
- Requirements elicitation
- Assist in the preparation of user and system test plans
- Provide the link between the customer, development team and third parties regarding software functionality
- Provide day to day management of change requests in relation to project plans
- Partner with the Project Manager to produce the relevant project artefacts at the appropriate stage of the project delivery.
What will help you make a difference.
To be considered for this role of Business Analyst you must have demonstrable and proven experience working, communicating and influencing stakeholders and customers on a range of change projects. It is also essential that you have the following:
- Experience of the project lifecycle
- Lead on gathering requirement specifications from business users
- Worked independently, managing multiple tasks and prioritised accordingly
- Experience of the testing process
- Exceptional attention to detail to document complex business processes using BPMN and UML
- Experience drafting business cases
- Strong written and verbal communication
It would also be beneficial if you held the any relevant Business Analysis qualifications from BCS/IIBA along with experience of the Housing Sector.
