Job description
Nextant is looking for a driven Business/Systems Analyst 2 to join our client team. As a Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software and systems, focus on SuccessFactors Employee Central, by executing various testing activities. Your responsibilities will include analyzing system requirements, designing, and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the overall quality of the product. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that software and systems meet the required standards and specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand software requirements and specifications.
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and user stories.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests to ensure the software meets quality standards.
- Identify, record, and track software defects and issues using defect tracking tools and collaborate with the development team to ensure proper resolution.
- Perform thorough testing of user interfaces, APIs, databases, and other system components.
- Conduct exploratory testing to discover potential issues and improve software quality.
- Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test configurations.
- Collaborate with the development team to improve overall software quality and prevent future issues.
- Provide clear and concise reports on test results, including defect summaries and test coverage.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Tester or in a similar quality assurance role.
- Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect management.
- Experience with various testing techniques, such as functional, regression, integration, and UAT.
- Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Pay Rate:
The annual salary rate for this position in Washington State is $98,000.00 - $103,000.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Nextant considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills, and market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Candidate must be in Washington, Florida or Texas.
