Business Analyst
Main Purpose of roleBusiness Management is part of the O&T Business Support function that is a shared service with the following areas of responsibility;
1. Business Management (O&T and Security Exec reporting, workforce administration, Development Partner supplier governance, operational reporting, and ad-hoc support & change)
2. Supply Chain Management (owns operates and enhances Vocalinks Supply Management Framework to meet industry needs, responds to regulatory and customer reviews, owns Outsourcing & Suppler strategies, supplier reporting into VLL governance, and central repository in support of framework)
3. IT Asset Management (manages Vocalinks hardware and software assets & licences for VLL &VIL, maintains assets inventory, undertakes Physical Audits of Assets)
4. Audits & Certifications (internal & External Audits coordination, track and report on progress of audits, ISO 45001 Health & Safety, ISO 14001 Environmental Management, and technical Assurance reporting / governance)
5. 1st Line Risk & Control (Support and facilitate the Risk and Control owners to identify, manage and own their operational risks, provide comprehensive and timely risk insight, meet regulatory expectations, and align with industry / Mastercard practices)
This role is to support all activities within the Business Management team including;
- Workforce administration reporting
- Development partner (3rd party supplier) governance
- Business support for onboarding and commercial processing
- Operational reporting
- Adhoc support & change
Key accountabilities and duties
The Analyst role works across O&T Business Support areas of responsibility. Whilst there may be greater proximity to one or more of these areas of responsibility with associated direct line management, the role will have exposure and knowledge in all areas to ensure both breadth and coverage across the function.
Accordingly generic responsibilities:
- Consistently delivers high quality and timely data reports, insightful analysis and other outputs derived from complex data sources
- Creating and delivering outputs including logical recommendations based on analysis undertaken to facilitate discussion and positive outcomes
- Investigates, designs, and delivers solutions leveraging established functional tools and methodologies to
- Proactively use insight and experience to create solutions to meet challenges across O&T Business Support responsibilities with wider O&T impact
- Facilitates internal and external meetings the content of which has a fundamental basis in outputs produced
- Facilitates the overall effectiveness of the business support function
- Partners with the internal O&T and other functions as required to deliver outcomes to the mutual benefit of the organisation
- May manage small-sized project/initiatives as an individual contributor with advanced knowledge within discipline, leading a segment of several initiatives or a larger initiative

- Understanding of Vocalink process and systems (e.g. sourcing. Recruitment, onboarding, organisational governance)
