ROLE PURPOSE
Leep Utilities owns and operates regulated and non-regulated multi-utility networks across the UK. With sites in MediaCityUK, Liverpool Waters and Canary Wharf, our broad range of capabilities includes electricity, water and wastewater, alongside heating, cooling and hot water services.
Leep is the result of a joint venture between the independent mid-market infrastructure investment manager, Ancala Partners LLP and one of the UK’s leading private real estate investment and infrastructure companies, The Peel Group. We deliver straightforward connections throughout the UK and hold the relevant licenses that allow us to adopt regulated utilities on new developments.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to be part of our IT team. This role will be accountable for the understanding of business processes, gathering change requirements and managing the impact of change across the relevant business functions on a project-by-project basis.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with internal teams and colleagues to understand the needs of a function and the organisation as a whole
- Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service or function.
- Simplifying requirements for them to be understood across the wider teams
- Use relevant data to analyse findings and suggest relevant improvements
- Identify risks related to the change initiatives
- Identify costs and business savings
- Create relevant process flows and plans to evaluate the impact of change as well as taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on it.
- Act as an advisor to senior managers and executive teams
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Previous experience of the Energy Industry preferred
- Previous experience of working as a business analyst
- Experience of identifying and implementing business improvements
- Ability to influence and motivate with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to organise and produce work to tight deadlines
- An interest in project management techniques
- Analytical skills
