As our first business analyst – you will need to be an all rounder – as comfortable partnering with product leaders on business case development, working with finance and instrumenting products for data tracking, digital analytics and tagging with software engineering colleagues.
Analysing and supporting experimental design and post implementation review will also be key to your success.
Reporting to the Director of Product Operations, you will play a key part in the development of our Product Operations team who are responsible for improving product portfolio governance and the practices of teams across the Koerber Supply Chain business.
Responsibilities
· Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and/ or business models and develop succinct business case, using strong data-based decision-making skills, especially in an environment of multiple trade-offs.
· Execute end-to-end analysis: gathering and shaping analytics requirements; defining outcome success metrics and hypotheses; identifying and validating sources of data; identifying and validating methods of analysis; delivering insights and liaising with your stakeholders to ensure the best recommendations are identified and delivered.
· Form and nurture relationships with your key stakeholders.
· Develop dashboards plus the ability to advise development teams to code/ instrument tagging and analytics for our products.
· Solid technical understanding around metrics implementation – you will need to be comfortable having technical conversations and know when to lead, when to challenge and when to ask questions.
Experience and Qualifications
· Being a champion and evangelist, applying great coaching skills to excite an audience across business case development and digital analytics implementation and monitoring.
· Landing value to the business through business case development, customer activity tracking in products and process improvement.
· Formulate and communicate results using textual, numeric, graphical and other visualisation methods appropriate to the target audience.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills – you must be able to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience of seniority levels and mathematics skills.
· Data analysis and manipulation skills:
. ETL ( data cleansing).
. SQL.
. Excel.
. Data structures and database understanding.
· Thinking at a conceptual level across a number of platforms (desktops, mobile, tablets) and operating environments (In the warehouse, transportation, Delivery, Customer Experience).
· University degree in a quantitative discipline or relevant experience.
Skills/Behaviors Desired
· Experience coordinating and running workshops..
· Experience using Product Management tools including Aha! & Miro, Dev Ops Azure, Jira.
· Technical knowledge of digital tracking solutions, how to implement and verify working correctly. For example Adobe, Google Analytics, Splunk, Heap, Amplitude.
· Analytics presentation platforms such as Tableau, Power BI.
· Basic statistical understanding:
- Probability distributions.
- Terminology.
- Basic testing.
- Segmentation.
- AB tests.
· Must be able and willing to travel including USA and Germany.

Salary: £60,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
