Business Analyst

InXpress Global is a fast growing, privately held company operating in 14 countries. InXpress provides parcel and freight shipping solutions via global carrier brands to SME's.

With ongoing significant investment in our software product team InXpress has a vacancy for a Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be working with our software product owners and business stakeholders to define and gather requirements, write functional user stories, and work with our developers to enhance our software product.

The Role

  • Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team.
  • Convert roadmap features into smaller user stories
  • Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product.
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and externally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product.
  • Work closely with product management and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio.
  • Liaison with business operations to gather requirements for new software development.
  • Execute technical scoping of business requirements through tickets.
  • Influence stakeholders to support business projects.
  • Test business processes and recommend improvements.
  • Reviews development design to ensure requirements were interpreted correctly.
  • Ensure the product functionality is properly documented.
  • Oversee the change control and management discussions and processes.
  • Perform and coordinate software acceptance and regression testing.
  • Coordinate and manage release of software.
  • Write formalized functional requirements and user acceptance criteria.
  • Act as a platform subject matter expert for analysis and requirements definition relating to development and related applications and services.
  • Help drive a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Proactively assess and mitigate project risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis and data management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and clients simultaneously.
  • Must be able to work on a remote schedule when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
