Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Business Analyst. As a Part-Time Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and facilitating effective decision-making through data-driven insights. This is a part-time position requiring a commitment of approximately 5 -10 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities. Generate reports and visualizations to support decision-making.
Solution Design: Work closely with stakeholders and development teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications and design effective solutions.
Change Management: Support change management efforts by identifying potential impacts and developing strategies for successful adoption of new processes or technologies.
Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to ensure project success.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans and test cases to validate system functionality, ensuring quality and adherence to requirements.
Documentation and Training: Prepare detailed documentation, user guides, and training materials to support the implementation and use of new systems and processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a related industry or domain.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret complex data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Experience with process modeling and workflow analysis.
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
