Job Content
The Corporate Planning team is the driving force in translating the sales and marketing strategy of the company into a proper yearly budget. This yearly budget includes: Quantities, Sales Values, Costing review and Price setting and Yearly sales actions.
The Business Analyst will report to the Corporate Planning Manager, whilst also working closely with the Managing Director and Financial Controller and will be key in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data used in reporting. This data will help in monitoring the sales and production departments’ performance as well as providing the building blocks for the budgeting process.
As this data comes in from multiple departments, it is essential to be able to clearly communicate with people at all levels of the business. This can help to identify opportunities for improvement within processes by developing business analyses, quantifying benefits and costs as appropriate and prioritising for review.
Building reports from large amounts of data and create reporting for a general understanding as well as being able to decompose high level information into details.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
3 years of experience in similar position, preferably within the manufacturing sector.University degree in finance, business or other relevant field.
- Microsoft Excel – Advanced and able to interrogate large quantities of data.
- High general level of IT skills with a knowledge of database and report building.
- SAP user (preferable).
- BI Cubes experience (preferable).
- Highly self-motivated.
- Studying towards CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent relevant qualification.
- Knowledge of Commercial Refrigeration Market will be considered an asset.
- Confident working independently and hold yourself accountable to deliver and achieve deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise and organise work effectively
- A strong team player with the ability to also work autonomously; and general willingness to learn and grow
- Demonstrable experience of building strong working relationships with multiple collaborators and stakeholders.

- Salary circa £30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
