Because of exciting new plans in the works for 2023 Homebase are recruiting across multiple teams, including our IT team! As such we're seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join us on a permanent basis as soon as possible!
Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday (8 am - 4 pm OR 9 am - 5 pm). Should you require flexible working arrangements, please let us know and we will do our very best to accommodate these where possible!
Location: We operate a hybrid working policy which means that you decide what works best for you! If that means working from home, then work from home. If you prefer to work in an office then you're welcome to work from the office. For this particular role, you will need to work from our Milton Keynes, Store Support Centre for 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays). This may increase to 3/4 days per week for short periods in the run-up to our peak seasons.
Salary: £42000 - £51000 (DOE) plus Bonus
Job Role Purpose:
Your focus will be on ensuring the best possible customer and team member experience, by overseeing the delivery of solution requirements and agreeing success criteria. You will ask questions, and challenge decisions to identify potential issues to convert unknowns to knows.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the organisation and IT systems to promote a holistic approach to initiatives
- Clearly understand business pain points and opportunities to provide clear initiative objectives
- Define, prioritise, and validate requirements from stakeholders to ensure a common understanding
- Collaboratively define acceptance and success measures for functional and non-functional requirements
- Identify process, data, security, and compliance implications to feed into business change activities
- Facilitate open communications to approve the scope of the requirements from all stakeholders
- Support business case definition to ensure the value of initiatives are defined and communicated
Key Requirements:
- Formal training and 5 years+ experience in agile and waterfall analysis, design methods and techniques.
- Experience in omni-channel retail is preferable
