Salary: up to £50,000 (dependent on experience)

This is a full-time role permanent role. (35 hours per week)

About us: Education Development Trust is an education charity that exists to transform lives by improving education around the world. We work collaboratively with national and local governments, schools and other partners to design and deliver sustainable solutions to improve education.

EDT deliver life changing education programmes around the globe and technology underpins everything we do. To ensure we capitalise on the opportunities provided by advances in digital technology we are expanding our digital systems teams with several key new roles.

This role-holder will work within the Programme and Delivery team researching and documenting business requirements of new systems, improvements to existing EDT systems, and presenting the design to suppliers using structured industry-standard agile methodologies. The work will be varied, and will include specifications for internal systems, digital learning systems and assisting educational development programmes in the Middle East and sub-Saharan regions.


Person Specification:
Knowledge Essential:
  • Detailed practical knowledge of current best practice in information technology, particularly a good understanding of Project Delivery
  • Extensive knowledge of change management and business adoption of digital solutions
  • Knowledge of IT within an educational context
Experience
Essential
  • Substantial experience and a proven track record of Business Analysis involving complex IT and business change projects from conception to delivery
  • Evidence of success in prioritising work from multiple different stakeholders
  • A customer-orientated mindset
  • Ability to communicate and form working relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to challenge constructively, and help build consensus to ensure buy-in and support with key stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Developing data-driven insights, analysis and strategic advice
  • Experience In Public Sector or NFP as a Business Analyst
  • Experience In a managed service environment
