We are looking for a Business Analyst that likes capturing business process and forming requirements. You will help ensure our technological developments and system implementations operate seamlessly in support of our business objectives.

You will help us to define our processes and requirements, as we move forward into our new bespoke application builds and configuration of off the shelf applications, to ensure we deliver software which is appropriate for our business.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Documenting complex process and workflows, to be accessible for business users.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts. Including user stories for the developers
  • Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Working closely with staff, developers, and managerial staff.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Involved within user acceptance testing.
  • Assisting in the management of projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  • Prioritising initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

GENERAL INFORMATION

  • To attend for work reliably and punctually and to follow a work pattern as required fulfilling the role, which may include working overtime if the need arises.
  • To know where to access policies, to keep yourself up to date with all procedures and policy changes and to be aware of and follow their contents
  • To develop your own and your teams, practice through the supervision and appraisal process, ensuring your continuous professional development needs are identified and addressed.
