Computershare have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join our Product Innovation team supporting our Share Plans business worldwide. We are a global, diverse and dynamic team focused on growing and optimising our product offerings in the equity compensation industry.
This role is a permanent position, and our ideal candidate is someone committed to working in either our London, Edinburgh, Bristol, Warsaw or Toronto office, 2 days per week. We are a flexible team who can offer the ability to split time between the office and home working as needed.
A role you will love
As a Business Analyst, you will work independently or in support of the Product or Project Managers on major strategic projects, software development, or process improvements emanating via the demand management channel.
You will get the opportunity to work on different initiatives, hone your existing skills whilst continuing to build on your knowledge.
Key Accountabilities;
- Analyse complex issues and identify root causes
- Work collaboratively within cross-functional teams, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to elicit requirements & acceptance criteria
- Develop requirements and manage through change control
- Produce high quality process flows
- Validate business cases to ensure all benefits are measurable
- Present analysis and process reviews to stakeholder and project groups
- Manage workshops and meetings with business and technology
- Identify risks and track through to resolution, utilize tools such as Jira to manage tasks, producing project status updates and ensuring issues and risks are communicated appropriately
- Support business testing to ensure readiness for change (e.g. UAT, Training, documentation etc.)
- Implement process improvements and system deployments
What will you bring to the role?
You will be passionate about using data to drive actions and be able to present your analysis to technical and non-technical audiences. You will have a strong track record of driving change in global organisations and will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, able to overcome challenges quickly. You will be delivery focused with excellent stakeholder management skills and work effectively with the business, product and technology teams. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, dynamic and capable of working independently managing multiple priorities.
Other skills, experience & competencies include;
- Extensive experience as a business analyst with knowledge of a broad range of business analysis tools, techniques and frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and tailor communication to different audiences
- Solid process mapping, process improvement and documentation skills
- Strong analytical skills and accomplished problem-solver who constructively challenges the status quo
- Substantial knowledge of Agile lifecycle methodology
- A track record of successful and timely project delivery in challenging environments
- Can quickly develop domain knowledge to credibly engage with stakeholders
- Experience working in global organisations and cross-cultures
- Understands Cost / Benefit analysis and financial impact
