Business Analyst with Computer Programming/Automation Skills
We are looking for a Business Analyst with Computer Programming/Automation skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to write code (Python, R or VBA) and automate tasks, create dashboards for key performance indicators, streamline processes, automate production planning, automate sales forecasting, build a CRM database, optimize our fleet and routes, automate raw materials ordering, automate social media posting, and other related tasks. This role will work closely with our production team and other departments including the executive management team to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and increase productivity. The ideal candidate has a passion to learn, grow, and is motivated by continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly, quarterly and annual business reporting.
- Analyze and interpret sales data.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts for production planning.
- Automate production planning and sales forecasting.
- Monitor and track sales team performance against sales targets.
- Analyze customer data to provide insights on strategic actions.
- Build a CRM database and maintain customer data.
- Identifying changing customer needs through a constant review of the highest selling products.
- Write code (Python, R, or VBA) to automate various tasks and processes.
- Create dashboards to monitor key performance indicators and provide insights to the management team.
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- Optimize fleet and routes to reduce transportation costs and delivery time.
- Automate raw materials ordering to ensure adequate inventory levels.
- Automate social media posting to increase our online presence.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A University Degree in a related discipline.
- 3-years work experience in a business environment.
- Natural curiosity to effectively problem solve.
- Proficient in coding with Python and other relevant programming languages (R, Python and VBA).
- Advanced skills and experience working with Excel spreadsheets.
- Preferably has an exposure to or has used Power BI.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Confidence with manipulating large datasets to turn raw data into practical insights.
- Highly collaborative work ethic with a desire to proactively work with others within the organization to accomplish organizational goals.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and pivot to the most urgent ones in an environment of constantly evolving priorities.
- Knowledge of sales methodologies, forecasting techniques and sales performance metrics.

In addition to paid salary, the following additional benefits/compensation will be available following completion of a 6-month probationary period:
