Business Analyst - Cyber Security
Contract: Permanent // Full Time
Location: Coventry
Salary: £44,845 - £52,758 Per annum
About the Role
Are you a skilled Business Analyst with a passion for Cyber Security?
Join our team and play a crucial role in driving our business forward. As a Business Analyst - Cyber Security, you will work closely with the Product Owner to develop business cases and prioritise backlog items that deliver maximum value to our customers. Your expertise in agile methodologies and stakeholder management will be instrumental in ensuring that our product releases align with business needs and commitments.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to develop business cases and prioritise backlog items that maximise customer value.
- Define the scope and create backlog items (epics/user stories) to guide the development activities of our agile team.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to manage product releases and ensure they meet true business needs.
- Translate complex IT issues into business-related vocabulary and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
About You
We're seeking applications from candidates who:
- Have experience working with diverse stakeholders and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have an understanding of the role of technology and digital platforms in delivering business value, with knowledge of the technology product lifecycle.
- Have proven experience in an agile product-centric environment, working with multi-disciplinary technology teams.
- Have the ability to create product specifications, including capturing requirements, writing user stories, and documenting acceptance criteria.
- Are proficient in analytical models such as PESTLE, Porter's Five Forces, and SWOT.
- Are proficient in the use of Atlassian products: Jira and Confluence.
