Where the Chemistry Happens…

This role supports the financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting of the market cost for AP Canada, and directly supports the AP Canada Controller, while strengthening the Value based management. The role also analyzes trends and the impact on KPIs from a local legal entity and globally consolidated market view perspective. Finally, this role makes process and simplification recommendations, and may participate in their execution.

Formula for Success: You Will…

  • Forecast budget, analyze and report the market cost at the Divisional (OD) country level to the Business Controller.

  • Through the lens of financial and accounting experience, recommend improvements that meet all compliance requirements, as well as clarity and transparency on the business development.

  • Prepare monthly reports / dashboards using data from key business systems while driving digitalization initiatives and reviewing data for potential errors and seeks resolution to maintain long-term data integrity.

  • Understanding and analyzing trends, changes, developments and its impact on the KPIs from local legal entity and globally consolidated market view perspective with the need to bridge both views on the financial development, considering the information needs of all stakeholders.

  • Strengthen the capabilities in the combined crop protection, seed and seed treatment business and train all members of the organization to identify and realize their contribution to the defined KPIs.

Qualifications


Ingredients for Success: What We Look for in You…


  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience. MBA or CPA preferred.

  • At least 5 years experience in controlling and financial analysis.

  • Strong PC skills in MS office applications, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel functions. Working knowledge of PowerBI or similar reporting tools a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work in an international team environment and across functional boundaries.

  • Highly motivated with strong self-directed capabilities to work in a partially virtual environment.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data and assumptions relative to budgets, forecasts, actual reporting and long-term business plans / models. Ability to connect knowledge obtained from various sources in evaluating / analyzing.

  • Good working knowledge of international accounting policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge of SAP software.
