Business Analyst
Northampton
As a Barclays Business Analyst, you will be responsible for driving the business analysis effort related to the delivery of Asset and Liability Management initiatives within the Group Treasury domain. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable business solutions by collaboratively working with the technology teams. You will be part of a high-performance team and will be given opportunities to work on challenging and varied initiatives across the domain.

- Supporting transformational activities related to the bank’s Asset & Liability Management processes
- Facilitating complex changes to business and technology processes that are internally driven and also meet regulatory commitments
- Understanding business needs and facilitating the definition and agreement of functional and non-functional requirements
- Building & maintaining solid and trusted relationships with your business stakeholders
- Collaborating with technology leads across the Architecture and Engineering community
- You will be responsible for problem solving and the production of high quality, unambiguous, actionable user-stories
- Displaying excellent technical business analysis skills throughout the initiatives
- Supporting the end-to-end software delivery cycle
- Significant experience within financial services (Risk, Finance and or Treasury domains) as a Business Analyst familiar with Agile and Lean principles and practices
- Familiarity with Asset & Liability Management governance, models (e.g., generation of NII, EVE measures), processes and tooling including regulatory aspects (e.g., BCBS368)
- Ability to produce high quality, well structured, concise materials
- Technically literate (e.g., degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent) with innovative mindset

- Recognised Agile qualification
- Recognised Business Analysis qualification
- Experience of Behavioral Driven Design techniques

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
