Role Purpose:
Do you have solid Business Analysis skills? We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to analyse business problems, identify causes and propose requirements and solutions to address problems. The Business Analyst will elicit functional and non-functional business requirements for a SMART programme and associated projects. You will help IT teams with knowledge transfer, risks and conduct dependency management. This exciting position allows you to take on a pivotal role within this space to support our team’s and client’s operational forecast in order to improve their ways of working to achieve even more success. You will own the requirements gathering in order to support the delivery of projects. As a Business Analyst, you’ll work collaboratively with staff across the organisation and drive forward process and systems change initiatives, to assist in the selection of business and technology solutions and demonstrate how these will deliver benefits and resolve the issues identified through business case development. Job Responsibilities:
. Business analysis planning, estimating efforts, identification of stakeholders, defining approach, analyse techniques to be used, deliverables and communication
. Feasibility studies and business case development
. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders
. Manage existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and exploring opportunities for business development
. Monitor market conditions, industry developments, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and optimise business growth opportunities
. Act as the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each individual prospect moving forward
. Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients, negotiating with clients to secure the most attractive prices
. Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes
. Plan approaches, and presentations and work with the team to proposals that match the client’s needs and objectives
. Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services and distribution channels
. Both the functional and non-functional requirements must be gathered, analysed and approved as part of this required service
. Needs analysis, requirement analysis, process and data definition
. Define detailed general and functional requirements
. Mediate between subject matter experts and applications developers, acting as a link between business challenges and technology solutions to ensure the solution implemented will deliver the required business benefits
. Ensure requirements/ specifications meet industry, quality and company standards
. Outline solution options, recommendations and scope
. Define detailed requirements and solutions specific in the context of organisation, process, data and systems (incl. performance, configuration, data, operational & migration)
. Able to conceive the idea and formulate a functional document
. Work with project manager, IT delivery team and business user personnel
. Produce business and project requirements specifications, user case/ test scenarios, business benefits
. Must have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn and be adaptable to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Experience Required:
. You should have held roles such as Requirements Analyst, Business Analyst etc
. Working experience of project and analysis techniques and supporting tools for requirement definition and documentation
. Knowledge of working in an Agile environment- Scrum, Lean & XP
. Business process design and process establishment
. Analysis techniques including Workshops, Process Mapping etc.
. Solution definition including organization, process, data, system benefits analysis
. Excellent organisational skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
. Stakeholder Analysis and Management
. Experience with software development and testing life cycle
. Knowledge of multiple domains will be an added advantage
. Academic background in a numerical course/ computer science or relevant stream will be beneficial for this role

Salary: From £30,500.00 per year
