We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join IT in London. Reporting to the Business Analyst Practice Lead, this Manager level role will work as part of the Technology Delivery Business Analysis team, whose mission is to better enable the firm to deliver world class legal solutions. We do that through bringing our skills and experience to the delivery of our multi million pound project portfolio and through the identification of the key benefits and value those projects will support. What you'll be doing
  • Supporting successful delivery and adoption of change which provides value to the business.
  • Defining the business analysis approach and proactively driving this forward to success
  • Ensuring solutions best enable the changes required across systems, people and processes.
  • Ensuring requirements elicited can feasibly be implemented by delivery partners and will meet the quality we need.
  • Supporting development of the business analysis team by contributing to the creation of enhanced standards for delivering business analysis.
  • Working across multiple projects/initiatives at different stages to add value as a BA
  • Building the profile of the team through the delivery of excellent quality proactive analysis
  • We want to build the Business Analysis team with individuals who are passionate about business analysis, who are not afraid to challenge the status quo in order to deliver the best results for the business and who bring the best of themselves to the work they do.
What you will bring
  • Proven IT Business Analysis experience working across the business and IT at a senior level, preferably on multiple concurrent projects or initiatives.
  • The ability to apply a repertoire of business analysis tools and techniques to all stages of the software delivery lifecycle
  • Proven experience in managing stakeholders at all levels of seniority
  • The ability to constructively challenge the status quo with business stakeholder to seek the best outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills - able to confidently communicate with the Business in their language, and translate these conversations to IT (and vice versa!)
  • An analytical mindset - able to quickly understand requirements, and to identify, evaluate, and propose, potential solutions
  • The ability to identify risks to projects and evaluate and seek to mitigate the potential impact
  • Commercial acumen including an understanding of the overall picture of how to add value to the business and within IT delivery
  • Business Analysis qualification
  • High level of personal credibility, impact and influence with all levels of the business
You will stand out if you bring
  • BCS Business Analysis Diploma (part or full qualified).
  • Experience working in multiple project delivery methodologies including Agile/ SCRUM & BDD.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the IT market and trends.
  • Experience in coaching/mentoring other Business Analysts.
  • A passion to create value through business analysis and to raise the profile business analysis as a discipline
