What you’ll do:
The Business Analyst will partner with key stakeholders to plan, build, and implement technology-based solutions to address key business priorities. Develop an action plan that is carried out systematically to ensure a seamless transition from the previous system/process/procedure. Successfully communicate the benefits of the change to ease resistance and promote a sense of commitment by employees, towards the proposed outcome. Activities include planning, organising, and controlling resources/processes to achieve project objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. Position holders drive the creation and management of multi-discipline teams, facilitating and coordinating a variety of technical program plans, tasks, and milestones.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Identifying key stakeholders for project and improvement initiatives and ensuring that a robust communication plan is in place to keep stakeholders informed of status, risk, and opportunities.
  • Aid business partners in understanding trade-offs and developing consensus
  • Engaging delivery teams to share project vision
  • Shaping and defining business requirements within an agile or waterfall delivery framework
  • Understanding business priorities and prioritising demand accordingly
  • Involved in development estimation process
  • Running process analysis workshops to identify waste, bottlenecks and duplication in process and to facilitate teams to improve business processes using standard tools and methods
  • Mapping data flows to process
  • Promote new technologies and trends to business partners and ATS (Aggreko Technology Services) colleagues
  • Aligning technology to business capabilities and process
  • Supporting the creation of project charters, work plans and business cases
  • Providing key support to the Project Manager in the delivery of business initiatives
What we’re looking for…

You will ideally have some knowledge of BA techniques and project methodologies, preferably across a similar industry. Exposure to using ERP systems is a huge benefit to this role also. Degree level qualification from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience is preferred but not essential.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to develop internal stakeholder relationships, and work collaboratively across wider teams. You will need to be able to work under pressure to deliver tasks on time, and to a high level of quality and accuracy, with strong attention to detail.

You’ll be self-motivated, with problem solving skills, and can identify issues, propose solutions, and think beyond your day-to-day remit.
Please note this role would also suit a more junior BA with the willingness to be developed quickly.
