Job description

Requirements for Business Analyst:

• Extensive relevant and demonstrable experience in the whole project delivery lifecycle
• Experience of being involved in projects that are in initiation/discovery with a variety of project delivery methodologies
• Working with business and IT stakeholders to define, challenge and document clear requirements using the appropriate techniques
• Flexibility approach and working with uncertainty to take this project from discovery to delivery.
• Using structured analysis to understand the full impact of proposed business change, including dependent processes and systems, using a range of tools and techniques
• Business process modelling, mapping as-is and to-be processes and journeys using appropriate techniques
• Stakeholder Management - Internal and external stakeholder mapping and analysis building strong and trusting relationships with Operations, 3rd party suppliers and internal IT colleagues and stakeholders of all levels.
• Scope definition and maintenance, challenging where appropriate
• Experience within security and cyber projects including projects that have improved security outcomes, SIEM migrations & transitions and associated business change.
• Working with all business areas to help define an appropriate and compliant solution to meet business requirements and scope
• Staying up to date with business analysis practices and methodology

Specific Skills and Experience :

• Experience of Scrum & Agile.
• Knowledge of JIRA, SCRUM, XP, KANBAN
• Self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Must have experience of Project Scoping, scheduling, Estimating and Monitoring
• Experience of full delivery life cycle as a Business Analyst including business case support, project initiation, requirement capture, scope and change management, development support, UAT, early life support and benefits realization
• Effective workshop facilitation
• Ability to create high quality documentation to agreed timelines
• Ability to think laterally about the impact of changes and represent these accordingly
• Ability to build close working relationships across the business and with suppliers
• Ability to understand complex concepts and communicate them in a simple manner
• Ability to communicate well on both a business and technical level, to all levels of the organization
• Experience documenting current and future business processes, data flow diagrams, data models and use cases
• Ability to manage and undertake user acceptance testing.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time within a business function
• Fluent with MS Office suite

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
