JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a summer intern you will be working on a project to develop a series of data dashboards using PowerBI (and possibly Excel), working with the end users to meet their information needs. There are two stages to the project:
Development of a dashboard for use by our Quality team and others to monitor the results of lab testing in our 6 production cleanrooms.- Replace the current web based KPI reporting environment with a new series of PowerBI dashboards for use by the Management Team.
Training will be provided in Power BI to facilitate the work and support will be provided throughout the project.
Job Role & Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of the IT dashboard project.- Work with stakeholders to identify needs and deliver solutions.
- Work with other members of the IT team to gain access to relevant data.
Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:
High degree of IT Literacy.- Self-motivated.
- An interest in developing user friendly dashboards to facilitate decision-making.
- The ability to use analytical thinking when encountering issues or problems.
- Project management and ownership skills.
- Able to clearly communicate with all relevant aspects of the business.
Desirable:
Studying at GCSE level or above.
