Role Description
As the Business Analysis Associate you will develop data analytics products to be used by our Operations colleagues; to better understand client behaviors, inefficient processes and inform improved data-driven decision making. You will also support our organization in adopting data to streamline efficiencies, visualize metrics, engineer data workflows, and assure data quality.
Job responsibilities
- Partner with Operations teams to define the requirements for analytics and metric insights. Translating stakeholder requirements into priorities and providing regular updates on progress
- Work with large sets of data and stitch it together to drive business insights that guide business actions and/or result in improved business outcomes
- Drive innovation efforts across the organization, ensuring stakeholders are onboard with the requirements and support delivery
- Become Subject matter expert for key metrics and data elements by working with data domain & operations partners to form a comprehensive view of data analytics
- Drive a book of work that provides the data that enables the organizational goals; with a particular focus on efficiency, automation and client delivery
- Communicate with senior management and business stakeholders internally on progress against the team goals and roadmap
- Embrace new and emerging technologies and tools to amplify outcomes
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- A few years of relevant work experience in an analytics role, with financial services experience preferred
- A balanced approach combining judgment, analytical rigor, curiosity, open-mindedness and creativity
- Story-telling acumen using Tableau, power-point etc.
- Knowledge an awareness of Operations, including relevant experience in an Operations team is an advantage
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of statistical analysis technique
- Experience with Python/Alteryx or similar business intelligence tools
- Knowledge and experience of AWS Cloud infrastructure and capabilities
