We are looking for a part-time Business Administrator to join our Library Administration Team. The role involves supporting a range of duties, including answering customer enquiries, assisting in communications, organising meetings and appointments, data entry and making updates to our website. You will often be required to organise your own workload to meet the demands of a reactive and busy environment.
Strong MS Office skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with customers and colleagues. You should be flexible and self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have good customer service and communication skills
- Have good ICT skills and an interest in further development
- Are able to maintain accurate records with attention to detail
- Can prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Work well in a team

Monday 10am – 5pm
Tuesday 10am – 5pm
Thursday 10am – 5pm
Friday 9.30am – 5pm
This role offers hybrid working between an office location in Eastbourne and remotely from home. On occasion, you will be required to work at other ESCC library locations to support service delivery.

Additional InformationYour starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
