About the role
Future Leap was created to give organisations the space, knowledge, contacts and tools to accelerate their sustainability journey and progress towards net zero carbon. We do this by showcasing innovative solutions, facilitating future-thinking discussions and collaborating with one another. We aim to be the primary source of sustainability related services and information for both commercial and domestic clients in the South West and beyond.
Future Leap, a Bristol based organisation (Pending B-Corp approval) offers organisations a number of hands-on services to support their net zero journeys. Additionally, Future Leap runs one of the biggest sustainability business networks in the UK consisting of over 500 businesses who engage with each other through our online portal and weekly events programme on all areas of sustainability from the very deep green technologies to softer solutions. As well as offering award-winning carbon neutral co-working facilities in Bristol and a brand new media studio in Clifton.
Alongside supporting the co-working community, you will be supporting the Future Leap managers with general business administration. Tasks will range from processing membership renewals to collecting payments.
Customer service responsibilities:
- Always provide positive and proactive customer service; welcoming customers, members and supporting with a range of enquiries face to face, over the telephone and by email
- Supporting the Front of House team with tours, sales, setting up accounts and general appearance of the space.
- Ensure that co-workings and meeting space guests are provided with appropriate support and facilities are ready for use
- Host event, meeting room or media studio bookings: ensuring guests have access to relevant equipment and catering orders are organised.
- Answer various enquiries by email and telephone including providing quotations for bookings.
- Administration of the CRM system: including ensuring customer accounts and contracts are correctly maintained, timely invoices are issued, and reports are accurate.
Specific Business Administration responsibilities:
- Support the senior management team with administrative tasks, including note taking and process documents
- Process and administering company financial records including customer invoices, cash received, purchase receipts and monthly staff timesheets
- Liase with customers and suppliers via email and telephone
- Maintain and organise of company records including data entry into financial and personnel databases
- Gather, organise and disseminate company and customer data, complying with GDPR.

Skills and Competencies
- Confident working with customers (meetings face to face, email, video calls, etc.)
- Able to offer friendly, proactive, professional customer service
- Approachable, dynamic, customer-service motivated
- Experience with customer databases, CRM systems and booking systems
- Experience using Microsoft and excel

Hours:
20 to 30 Hours p/w Monday-Friday on a flexible basis depending on the demands of the role.
Wage: £10.90 per hour
