Spurgeons are an innovative UK leading children's charity delivering projects to support disadvantaged children, young people, their families, and communities. We work with a range of partners to provide creative solutions including children & family centres, school counselling, pre-school nurseries, family support and children affected by imprisonment and offending.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The primary responsibility of the Business Administrator is to provide critical support at senior level to ensure that the service's operations are coordinated and simplified for optimal effectiveness. As we integrate four distinct business areas into one team, you will assist the Director of Partnerships & Development and wider team with the organisation of daily administrative support, co-ordination of team meetings, events, and communications. As you instil a culture of enterprise and collaboration, you will assist the hiring of new management for the new directorate. With careful attention to detail, you will assist the Director of Partnerships & Development in organising the seamless changeover of duties and responsibilities as well as remote working practices, and you will also confidently support new external facing members of staff to embed into the team.
ABOUT YOU
Above all, we want someone who is enthusiastic about assisting others, is dependable and personable, and shares our values. You are a compassionate, fair, and committed professional with proven knowledge and experience in a Business Administration role. You may have a qualification in Business Administration or relevant administrative experience, and you have extensive knowledge of Microsoft tools such as SharePoint, OneNote & Teams, Outlook, Word & Excel. As a self-starter, you have a keen eye for detail, an analytical approach, and the ability to act decisively and independently as a results-driven and resourceful team player. You are an excellent communicator and time manager.
