Hours: Full-time 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
Salary: £50,696 per annum

The role
We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Business Accountant (Development)
Within the role of Business Accountant, you will provide a highly professional management accounting, cashflow forecasting, financial support and business partnering service to relevant development, construction, and sales functions.
You will provide the relevant divisions, directorates and/or functions with any relevant financial management information and support required for effective operational oversight and decision-making e.g. in regard to profitability, debt management, KPIs, capex, investment options, contract management and supplier management.
The role is full time, 35 hours a week and as with all our roles, we are happy to talk flexible working arrangements including our 9-day fortnight.
What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
Knowledge and experience of financial controls and safeguards- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA/CA graduate calibre finance professional, or equivalent relevant experience
- Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills
- Excellent commercial awareness i.e. understand impact of decisions on finances
- Ability to explain complex issues simply to stakeholders
