Are you looking for a new challenge? This Business Accountant role is unique in that you will be working with two very different areas of the business; we are looking for someone who can really juggle and manage two very diverse areas. We need someone who understands accountancy on a number of levels and can handle ad-hoc data analysis and administration duties which will challenge thinking. The candidate will work together with the Events Manager and the Finance Director…this role is one of a kind.
Basic credentials look like this:
- Experience in bookkeeping duties.
- Accountable VAT returns monthly.
- Administration of journals and GL postings as required.
- Managing and maintaining Monthly balance sheets for payroll, pension, and wage recharges.
- Accountable for monthly payroll administration and processing in collaboration with FD.
- Forecasting and Budgeting in collaboration with the FD
- General administration tasks
The Person looks like this:
- 5+ years’ experience of accounting and administration in large event and estate management environment
- Experience of Xero accounting, Approval max and Key Prime Accounting systems
- Experience of managing monthly accounting returns and accounts payable processes
- Confident, capable and empathetic
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent understanding of procurement processes and finances
- Computer literate, confident to learn new systems and work with CRM systems.

Hours of work: Circa 25 hours per week, there could be an opportunity to work more during the summer months.
Salary: up to £45,000 FTE depending on experience
