Responsibilities:
Safely operate a company-provided van to deliver plumbing supplies to various locations in and around Barnsley.
Load and unload plumbing materials with care and ensure proper handling to prevent damage.
Plan efficient routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Provide exceptional customer service, as you will be the face of our company during interactions with clients.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, including any special instructions or changes in delivery schedules.
Conduct regular vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Comply with all traffic and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Key Information
Experience & Qualifications
Requirements:
– Valid and clean UK driver’s license (Category B) is essential.
– Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
– Familiarity with the Barnsley area and its surrounding regions is a plus.
– Excellent time management and organizational skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Ability to lift and carry plumbing supplies, as some items may be heavy.
