Job description
DHL, award winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Daytime Van Driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- You will be working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day and the start times will vary between 6am - 8am.
- You will be delivering bedframes, divans, mattresses and headboards.
- Heavy lifting will be required in this role.
- You will sometimes be required to do two man deliveries.
- You will be delivering to Stores and Warehouses.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
