Job description
Ashton Recruitment are looking for a full-time Warehouse Operative for a busy furniture and mattress wholesaler based in County Down. This is manual work so must be relatively fit and healthy.
Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Carryduff
Duration: Temp to Perm
Rate of Pay: £11 per hour (Negotiable depending on experience)
Hours of Work: 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
No weekends & Bank Holidays off!
Duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Unloading heavy furniture from shipping containers to be stored in the warehouse
- Loading and off-loading goods from Vans and Lorries manually
- Heavy, repetitive lifting and carrying of furniture
- Working to deadline in a safe and timely fashion
- Complying with company Health and Safety procedures at all times
- Light driving duties when required
Essential Criteria:
- Full UK License
- Previous warehouse experience
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Manual Handling
