Salary - £33,100 - £41,300 (+£750 Car Allowance) per annum - depending on skills and experience
About the role
My client, one of the biggest social housing providers in England are recruiting for a
Locality Surveyor on a permanent basis.
You will oversee the primary functions of a surveyor carrying out inspections both physically and using video functionality in customers` homes to provide advice or to schedule and raise repairs that are of a complex nature to remedy issues.
You need to ensure a surveyor has specifical requirements to ensure regulatory, statutory, and health & safety requirements, including decent homes standards are met.
You will be responsible for ensuring our services meet operational standards and targets, provide value for money, and involve colleagues and customers to improve service delivery.
About you
You must have a HNC in construction or equivalent, or City and Guilds in trades background i.e., Plumbing / Carpentry.
You must have experience of policies and procedures in social housing settings.
You must be able to carry out pre and post inspections, ensure good standard of workmanship and service is delivered on time and within budget.
You must be able to respond to complaints within timescales.
You must be able to instigate and monitor all remedial or necessary actions including communication of survey outcomes, requirements, completions and further works to colleagues and other stakeholders.
You will be required to advise on technical, financial, and professional solutions to colleagues, trade colleagues and customers.
