Building Society Cashier / Customer Services Assistant
Part-time to full time dependant on business needs and holiday/sickness cover.
£22,000 per annum pro rata (£11.28 per hour)
Considering an annualised arrangement whereby the successful applicant is paid a minimum of 22.5hrs a week but has the choice of working 15 hours some weeks and the remainder being used as banked hours when covering holidays/sickness, thereby giving a minimum monthly wage with additional hours by arrangement. This could be discussed to suit the business and applicant.
Flexibility is a must. During busier times we will need full time cover - sometimes at short notice.
Applicants for this role will require excellent customer service skills and a friendly telephone manner. Experience within a Building Society or Bank is preferred but is not essential. There will be an initial training period which may require more working days per week to complete this.
~The role will involve getting to know the customers and support them to find the right products and services.
~You must be able to facilitate great conversations confidently through face to face discussions, or over the telephone, and also have an understanding of online banking services.
~Must be great with people and be willing to help us to grow our customer base through excellent customer service.
~A basic knowledge of Outlook and Windows and Excel would be advantageous but not essential.
