Hamleys has a long heritage of theatre and magic. Our brand is synonymous with fun and making lifelong memories for everyone aged 3 to 100! Founded in 1760 by William Hamley, we are a true British icon and want you to be part of the magic!
Hamleys are looking for helpers who will deliver the Hamleys PLAY service strategy everyday whilst participating in all store activities and operations.
We’re looking for people who are self-confident, fun and friendly. It’s important you have lots of energy and enthusiasm, and a passion for Hamleys!
Equally important is that you enjoy working with children. A positive, can-do attitude is a must, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills. We love those who are creative, innovative and adaptable, and we also love those who are keen to continuously develop their knowledge and are pro-active about this.
Hamleys work to a high standard, so it is important that you are highly organised.
You’ll be working in a diverse environment, so having the ability to communicate with a range of audiences and understanding which communication style is appropriate for each audience is key. As part of the Hamleys family, you must be able to work well in a team but also be confident working independently when required.
