We have a fantastic opportunity for a Breakfast to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. We have 320 bedrooms, 2 rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf. We have a really exciting year ahead at The Belfry, starting with hosting The British Masters in June 2023, and continuing with the launch of new training and development opportunities and incentives.
The Ryder Grill
The Ryder Grill & Kitchen is a 220 seat restaurant that offers a number of menu options, ranging from our stunning 2 rosette À la Carte menu to chefs table and a Sunday Carvery. The Ryder Grill & Kitchen also benefits from a theatre kitchen where we prepare and cook our steaks and roasts all in view of the guest. Our menus are seasonal so you will learn how we build a menu, cost it and deliver it out to our guests.
We all know that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and at The Belfry Hotel & Resort, we want to make sure that our guests start their day with an outstanding breakfast. All room sales include buffet breakfast within the Ryder Grill & Kitchen, on a daily basis you can be supporting a breakfast service for up to 700 guests.
Salary
The on-target earning potential for this role is £10.98 - £11.22 hourly rate, compromising of a base hourly rate of £10.18 - £10.42 plus a qualified estimate of £0.80 gratuities per hour
About the role
Work-life balance is important to us here at The Belfry. Because this is a breakfast role, normal shift patterns are 6am until early afternoon including weekends.
As a food and beverage assistant, your duties include all those of a waiter
- To welcome all guests a polite and friendly manner
- To deliver a great experience from beginning to end
- To confidently talk about our menus, offer upsells and enthusiastically
- To take orders from our guests and proactively ensure that all of their needs are met
- Cleaning and good hygiene practices are a large part of this role
- To work across any of the outlets that are in need of assistance to ensure the smooth running of the resort as a whole
