As part of the responsible sourcing and ESG division at ASOS, the Branded Engagement team work cross functionally to uphold the ethical and sustainable principles of the company, driving progress towards both our Fashion With Integrity (FWI) goals and systemic industry change through the relationships we foster with our strategic Third-party Brand partners.
Our Branded Engagement Administrator:
- Understands timescales for onboarding new brands and supports the pre assessment & onboarding process
- Support the assistant to manage onboarding processes with branded buying teams working directly with accounts payable, legal, inbound supply chain to ensure that set up documents are completed accurately and efficiently in line with the critical path for onboarding.
- Monitors pre-assessment and onboarding trackers to ensure accuracy and speed within the process, keeping the process moving and supporting the BE assistant and senior BE partner with next steps at pinch points.
- Manages the responsible exit list for Brands working with accounts payable, legal, and extranet teams on brand exits to ensure all systems are updated with brand exits, and any future re-onboarding changes.
- Gathers data for reporting on total brand numbers, new suppliers & exit to report to SLT
- Supports on gathering data for sustainability & Ethical trade, working in collaboration with the wider responsible sourcing team.
- Supports projects across the branded engagement programme
- Manages the new supplier & Branded engagement inboxes, escalating any concerns to the relevant team members.
- Works with branded buyers & legal team to sensor check new brand contracts against ASOS T&Cs highlighting any anomalies to the senior partner in preparation for final approval and signing.
- Reviews and challenges current processes and ways of working to seek improvements to ensure that all forms are fit for purpose.
- Keeps up to date with shipping terms, international logistics, payment terms etc to ensure that the set-up documents are up to date.
- Support ASOS's third party brand partners on their FWI journey from pre-assessment and on-boarding through the brand lifecycle, answering queries and signposting them to information.
We'd love to meet someone with:
- A background in a Fashion Retail Head Office environment, preferably in a ESG, buying or sourcing related role
- Must have a passion for driving change in relation to improving ethical and sustainable practices across the industry
- Ability to work at pace but with attention to detail
- Knowledge of branded supplier set ups and onboarding processes
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft office packages, particularly Excel, word and Powerpoint
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear manner to a variety of audiences
- Tenacious individual with a strength for data analysis and problem solving
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Works collaboratively and effectively with others
- Embraces change with energy and enthusiasm
