Our brands are strategic assets, worth billions of pounds. So it's important that people understand what they stand for and how to use them in the right ways. That means being consistent in the way we use and talk about our brands. Great brands are built from the inside out - that's where you come in.

  • Making sure the way we execute our brand portfolio makes sense to both customers and employees

  • Group brand leads for corporate strategy projects, including corporate narrative & strategy articulation, company boilerplate, purpose, values etc
  • Produce brand collateral for use around the business (brand architecture, brand story etc.)
  • Acting as a central hub of knowledge of our brands, and all elements of brand marketing activity
  • Support on the continued roll out of the BT Group brand, including helping stakeholders around the business know when and how to use it
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders around the business, ensuring they are engaged in development and roll out of projects
  • Work closely with brand management and brand studio teams as the brand strategy expert on specific projects
  • Work with key teams on strategic projects where central brand support is needed - e.g. on strategic or naming projects
Skill and experience you'll need
  • A background in either branding, marketing or communications would be an advantage
  • Great communicator with a clear and direct style
  • Track record in building good working relationships across organisational boundaries
  • An analytical mindset and loves to solve problems
  • Confident with presenting (sometimes complicated) information in a clear, simple way
  • Comfortable talking about our brand to both large audiences and individuals - up to Director level
  • Previous experience working in a large complex organisation, and have a proven ability to influence people
