Exploiting the success of Range Rover, creates a unique and highly desirable opportunity to play an instrumental part in shaping the future of the Range Rover brand.
The role will be instrumental in identifying and building the brand strategy to inform the direction for the delivery and take to market of the Range Rover 2030 vision, ensuring the Range Rover brand experience embodies modern luxury.
The scope of this strategic role will encompass all elements of building the brand experience through the ‘infinite customer journey’ including; brand identity, purpose, target customer and segmentation, product, services, the extended offer (accessories, branded goods and experiences), promotion as well as the distribution network and Range Rover community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defining the end-to-end brand strategy and identity to enable the brand to embody modern luxury across the end-to-end lifecycle
- Agreeing the brand attributes for of all product and services associated with the brand (tone, look, and feel), working in partnership with Brand Creative
- Translating of the brand strategy and identity into clear and simple strategic objectives that are easy to connect with and understand
- Defining the target customer(s) and segmentation for the brand, working with Customer Experience and Services Acceleration function to manage overlap or competition between other brands
- Defining the customer total value opportunity across both products and services
- Defining the distribution network strategy and consistent standards (agent and retailer)
- Commissioning the insights to ensure the brand is equipped with the information required to define and deliver a successful brand
- Defining the requirements for branded goods
- Ensure brand values are embedded throughout the whole enterprise
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
As the Brand Strategy Analyst, you’ll need the following knowledge, skills and experience:
- Brand creation/management, strategy or consultancy background
- Automotive / Luxury experience whilst not a mandatory requirement is preferred
- Experience in strategy development and an ability to think creatively / out of the box
- Progressive and pioneering in their ideas and approach to developing ambitious and realistic strategies
- Strong understanding of the global target customer and their evolving needs and ‘unknown’ needs
- Experience in developing customer journeys and experiences
- Strong relationship building skills, collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Strong communication skills – written and oral; ability to define a compelling narrative
- A passionate and effective practioner of the Agile mindset and methods
- Experience of conducting volume, pricing and capacity analysis
- Experience of developing business cases
- Strong knowledge of consumer insights and Voice of Customer
- An advanced practioner of performance marketing. An advanced user of Tableau, Powerpoint, Excel and analytical tools

- A passion for defining new approaches and working with new concepts in a brand definition environment
- Comfortable challenging with strong influencing and engagement skills - able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
- Resilient and enthusiastic, an individual able to deliver results under pressure, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs
- A dynamic and determined individual, highly driven, committed and results-orientated with significant pace, energy and confidence
- Able to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with strategic vision
- An analytical mindset with the ability to multitask
