How are you going to deliver ultra-rapid EV charging sites?
That’s the million-dollar question. The question is not whether we’re going to have a multi-site EV Charging proposition within our Sainsbury's estate right across the UK, because we’re working on that. Or our new EV Charging team is. EV ownership is heading towards the millions, and we want to make sure our customers can get an ultra-rapid charge whenever and wherever they are. It’ll make us one of the top suppliers in the country. And you could be part of that.
Why join us
The project is brand new, and so is the EV Charging team. This is going to become a huge part of our business. But you don’t need to be in EV at the moment to join us. If you’ve got the commercial know-how or you’re working on complex, related projects, you could be in at the start of something big for the industry, and vital for the planet. Our growth plans are really impressive, but achievable too. Which means you can be a pioneer.
More about the role

- Drive new customer recruitment through the creation and delivery of compelling customer messaging and offers
Develop our social media content strategy & plan
- Develop our proactive and reactive content strategy for the EV brand, working closely with our Group brand, digital marketing and campaigns teams – identifying the key areas that will enhance performance and support our commercial goals across all channels (including website content, digital media, etc.)
- Regularly review news, blogs, websites, influencer chatter and social media trends to influence our content plans – including thinking about how we can react to events / trends / conversations amongst customers
- Define a measurement framework for all display and social media activity that identifies the most important KPIs for measuring media effectiveness (e.g. viewability) and campaign impact (e.g. brand lift, sales lift etc.).
More about you:
- Experience in brand strategy with the proven ability and knowledge of how to develop & grow brands, driving real change (proven track record of building new brands highly advantageous)
- Experience of developing and setting marketing strategies
- A proven track record of developing social media content strategies that support brand and business objectives
- A creative, ‘outside of the box’ thinker who thrives on challenging the norm
