Role Description
An opportunity has arisen for a passionate Senior Brand Manager to join our Marketing team and take ownership for a key part of our branded portfolio. This is a high-profile role where you will set the strategic direction, lead the planning and execution of tactics across the Marketing Mix, and play an active part in the cross-functional Business Team.

As a result, we’re looking for someone who dreams big and is consistently determined to create high quality insight-led plans, which delight consumers, achieve our Brand aspirations, and deliver commercial results for our business. You will therefore be a natural collaborator; inspiring, supporting, and challenging a variety of stakeholders to reach the best outcomes at pace.

This is a fantastic role for someone looking to make their first step into a leadership position, where thinking strategically and coaching individuals are just as important as delivering results.

This is a Hybrid role, you will be required to go into our Staines office 3 days a week.


Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the team through the annual Consumer Change Plan process; creating insight-led strategies and tactics, which address the biggest ‘jobs to be done’ on the brand
  • Input into the annual Business Plan process; collaborating with the Marketing Manager and/or Business Team to translate the prioritized tactics into a solid Go To Market plan across each channel
  • Lead the team through the creation and deployment of Retailer Engagement presentations; collaborating with Sales and Category to galvanize our customers behind our plans
  • Partner with the Innovation Team to build winning propositions, which are grounded in insight, support the brand’s positioning and strategic direction, and add value versus the competitive set
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager to define the support model for NPD; considering how it fits within the broader Marketing plan
  • Collaborate with the Business Team and/or Natural Work Team to build NPD Business Cases; using all levers to ensure they win in market, fulfil the brand ambitions, and deliver against commercial aspirations
  • Lead the annual IMC process on the brand; galvanizing our agency partners behind the brief, and inspiring them to deliver high quality outputs in response to this
  • Lead the briefing, development, and production of AV assets; ensuring all outputs are to a high standard and consistent with the brand’s positioning



Skills and Experience
  • Degree-level qualification
  • Experience is essential in a FMCG organization (ideally Food-related)
  • Experience of developing TTL Comms campaigns
  • Experience of launching Big Bet Innovation / Renovation
  • Experience of working in cross-functional teams
