Role Purpose:


You would be a key team member of our Baby Feeding category, specifically focusing on our Cow & Gate brand marketing. Today, Cow & Gate is synonymous with quality and trust. We’ve fed 4 generations of Britain’s babies, our factory in Wexford is now carbon neutral and we’ve brought happiness and nourishment to millions of babies throughout the UK & Ireland for the last 100 years.


As Brand Manager you would be responsible for running and supporting key projects to grow the value and share of the Cow & Gate portfolio in UK and Ireland. You will be involved in the annual growth plans for the brand, the 3-year product and packaging innovation, and all activations / Growth Events. Success in this role is to support building strong commercial plans and excellence in execution as driving the Cow & Gate priorities with other business teams inside of Danone.


Role Focus:


  • Contribute to the development and delivery of annual marketing plan & business targets
  • Collate and disseminate key information from the market, including relevant competitor and customer information, to identify actionable insights to protect and grow the brand
  • Help build portfolio long-term strategy
  • Lead brand innovation projects & launches ('marketing craftsmanship' not project management)
  • Support the team in planning, developing and executing Growth Event and Always On activation, from identifying insights through to launching in market and post-event analysis
  • Think strategically to identify meaningful opportunities and the resilience and focus to deliver the desired outcome
About you

  • Ability to demonstrate project management skills, managing timelines and deliverable
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements on products
  • Ability to demonstrate analytic and financial management skills
  • Good communication skills (written/verbal) - clear and persuasive
  • Collaborative working style with the ability to seek win-win situations
  • Ability to liaise cross-functionally with key departments and gain stakeholder buy-in to plans
