Brand and Design Executive - Madame Tussauds, SEA LIFE and Dungeons

Riverside Building; County Hall, Westminster Bridge Rd
London, GREATER LONDON, SE1 7PB

A job with Merlin isn’t like a job anywhere else. With attractions around the world, from rollercoasters to wax figures, we don’t trade in suits, handshakes or briefcases. We trade in fun. In smiles, shrieks and spine-tingles. In Memories. In magic. But there are no tricks behind our magic. Instead, there are people like you. Passionate, dedicated people who are committed to making sure our worldwide attractions and guests’ experiences are the best they can be.

Are you a creative and innovative individual with a passion for delivering world-class brand experiences? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Brand and Design Executive. This is a fixed-term role for 12 months, based in our County Hall office in London, with a salary circa £28,000 depending on skills and experience.

About the Role...

As the Brand and Design Executive, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of our global brands and businesses. You will work on key initiatives and partner with local teams to enable excellent execution, all while putting the guest at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities include keeping brand training up-to-date and accessible for team members, maintaining brand asset banks and creating key visuals. You will partner with key sites to update attraction signage and manage the IP tracker, attend bi-monthly calls with the IP director, and maintain accurate events and upsell programs by site. You will also deliver a content calendar for communications in partnership with the SEA LIFE Trust team and execute monthly newsletters, maintain the site audit database, and design and update seasonal toolkits.

Staff lunches and monthly social nights are commonplace alongside working in a friendly open, social office amongst a talented pool of professionals across the breadth of Merlin brands.

About You...

  • Social media management, copywriting and content creation experience.
  • Proven track record of working/communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in analysing data and research to uncover insights.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Creative Cloud and WordPress.
  • Passionate about delivering a world-class brand experience.
  • Well organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • A creative, innovative, problem-solver who is ambitious and tenacious when appropriate.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and is passionate about working for Merlin and our industry-leading brands!

The Benefits…

We’re growing fast and alongside a fun and friendly environment, we offer a fabulous package and amazing prospects – ideal if you’re already fantastic and can quickly become even better (our magic can help here). Benefits include Pension, Life Assurance, discretionary company bonus, 20 days’ holiday and, of course, a Merlin Magic Pass which gives you and your friends and family free admission to all of our attractions worldwide, as well as 25% discount in our retail shops and restaurants and 40% discount on LEGO.

Everyone Matters at Merlin.

At Merlin we welcome the world to our magical attractions and resorts every day and we want to reflect that same multicultural mix inside our business too. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse workplace where people can be themselves, have the same opportunities and thrive together. Because at Merlin, everyone matters!

Together, we work to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, no matter their age, race, gender, disability or sexual orientation. Although we understand that we'll always be learning and growing, we aim to be the most inclusive and flexible employer in our industry.

Returning to work

As part of our approach, we welcome applications from people looking to return to work after a long career break.
We have an active Return to Work programme, which offers training, mentoring and more, to support with the transition back into working life. So, if you’ve been on a career break for any reason we can support you.

If you have any questions or if you require any adjustments due to disability or a medical condition, we'd love to hear from you at [email protected] and one of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
