Job Description
Brand Ambassador
The Brand Ambassador will be the passionate driver of the availability, visibility and activation of Martin Miller’s Gin and Licor 43 in the UK and Ireland. Working closely together with both the Marketing and Sales team and appointed distributors, he/she will bring energy around our brands and help to educate, create visibility and activate our brands with a strong focus on the on-trade channel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsibility for driving visibility and activation of the Martin Miller’s Gin and Licor 43 portfolio to increase brand awareness for both trade and consumers.
- Working closely with the Brand Manager and Sales teams to implement availability, visibility and activations across premium and prestige on-trade.
- Supporting appointed distributors’ On Trade Sales Managers with training, activations and events, both customer and consumer.
- Developing strategic relationships and unlocking the opportunity in Prestige Retail for higher styles (Westbourne, 9 Moons Solera Reserve, 26 Moons).
- Building relationships with key stakeholders in the On Trade to drive presence, activation and visibility of Martin Miller’s Gin Original and higher styles.
- Commercial acumen – driving distribution, securing menu visibility etc for everything you do. Attach a value, convert to a sale and secure ROS.
- Supporting the appointed distributors’ Brand Manager in building and leveraging strategic consumer brand partnerships in line with the brand plan to maximize awareness amongst core target and extended target audience
- Develop and manage local social media campaigns, to target consumers, bartenders and key contacts.
YOU:
- Knowledge and experience (5 years) of the UK on trade is essential and the Drinks industry in general.
- Passion and knowledge of the Gin and Licors Category.
- Previous Brand Ambassador/Training/Teaching experience
- Relationships with key trade stakeholders in London and other UK cities
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and training
- London-based (travel in the UK and Ireland will be required
