WHAT TO EXPECT

This role will aim to enhance the customer experience through the design, development and balance of customer attributes for Jaguar Land Rover vehicles.

Representing the Customer, this role needs to deliver a high standard of subjective assessment skill across a range of attributes and system interactions.

Utilising benchmarking and our Brand DNA, customer level targets need to be agreed early in the development cycle with experience permitting attribute balancing working towards Senior Management concurrence.

Within our team, the role will be responsible for a specific Brand and its products, developing a team to ensure quality vehicle evaluation in conjunction with the wider attribute team experts and Vehicle Engineering.

Evaluations will require international travel to ensure thoroughness and robust sign-off of the vehicle character.

The role also supports VIP and media events as required, to represent both JLR and the product.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• 
  Deliver competitor and comparator Attribute benchmarking, including, physical / virtual testing.
• Support the Programme Attribute Team to ensure all technical issues are identified and resolved.
• Plan and support evaluation activities as require.
• Working with attribute areas to define and maintain cascaded target requirements in
• support of overall vehicle level targets.
• Work with attribute engineers as required to drive implementation and resolution of all engineering solutions interface with engineering team to share information in both directions.
• Work on tasks to ensure all lessons learnt from the current vehicle are captured and fed back to the Programme Attribute Team and progressed as necessary.
• Support VIP and media drive events as required to represent both JLR and as a vehicle expert.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

• Significant experience in the Automotive Industry
• Experience of attribute development and balancing at a vehicle level
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to travel overseas,
• Driving Licence, with advanced driver training permits
