Branch Cashier

As a Branch Cashier, you will become the “face of SRBS”, so if you have a passion for delivering a first-class service whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy then you could be the person we are looking for.
What will you be doing?
Our Members appreciate being able to talk to a person face-to-face which is where you come in!
You will support the delivery of an excellent customer journey through providing a personal and efficient service.
The Role:
- Being part of our Branch team, you will be undertaking end to end Member transactions and administration that results in service that stands out for all Members.
- Providing a high level of customer service and demonstrating confidence in talking to customers about savings, and general enquiries across all of our communication channels.
- Process Improvements and branch administration duties to improve the Customer Journey.
- Embracing change through new ideas and collaborating with colleagues across different departments in the Society.
- Developing detailed knowledge of savings products and services to enable you to meet customer needs.
- Accurately processing customer transactions aligned with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure Branch premises are secure and security procedures are followed at all times.
- Responsible for identifying any potential or actual customer vulnerability throughout interactions (directly or indirectly) with customers and applying appropriate safeguarding to avoid potential harm.
To be successful:
- Financial Services experience is desired
- Excellent communication skills
- The highest level of accuracy and attention to detail is key
Full-time or part-time considered.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22 - 37.5 per week
Salary: From £20,800.00 per year
