Lilley’s Cider are looking for a Bottling & Kegging Production Operative to join our busy production team in Frome, Bottling and kegging award-winning ciders. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with prior experience working on bottling and kegging equipment.
Working closely with our bottling and kegging manager as well as other production functions, such as our brewing, bag in box, stock & quality controller and warehouse teams. This is an exciting and varied, with scope to learn new skills and become an integral part of the Lilley’s team.
Working Hours: 12.00 – 20.00, Monday – Friday. Happy to discuss some flexibility.
The ideal Candidate
We are seeking an experienced Bottle Line Operator (Kegging experience would be beneficial), with the ability to run all elements of the line, as well as perform maintenance and repairs as required.
You must be hard-working, self-motivated, and be prepared for a physically demanding role. The candidate should be committed to ensuring that standards are met across all aspects of the working environment, such as Health and Safety, quality and communications. You should have a positive approach to working, as well as being a good communicator and an ability to solve problems in a practical manner as they arise.
Role Responsibility
As a production bottling & kegging operative your day-to-day remit includes but are not limited to:
- Running the bottling line and kegging line
- Keeping quality control records
- Health and Safety
- Daily cleaning of production area and equipment.
- Maintenance and machine repairs as required.
- Problem solving
- Quality control
- Packaging requirements
- Moving stock using forklift or other MHE.
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience working on a bottling/kegging line
- Engineering skills or background.
- An ability to use your initiative.
- A confident communicator.
- Attention to detail with special attention on CCP’s
- Punctual, flexible, reliable and adaptable.
- Understanding of the importance of record keeping.
- Good awareness of Health & Safety.
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to follow instructions, processes and procedures
Desired Skills:
- Forklift license (If not training will be provided)
- HACCP training (if not training will be provided)
