Job description
We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our team.
Duties for family owned company includes:
- Sales invoice processing
- Purchase invoice processing
- Bank reconciliations
- Fixed asset registers and depreciation journals
- Maintaining sales ledgers
- Maintaining purchase ledgers
- Key balance sheet reconciliations, including PAYE and wages
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- General administration
The successful applicant will have the following skills:
- A willingness to be proactive and take the initiative
- AAT Qualified
- Knowledge of bookkeeping software
- Proven bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding organisational skills, with good attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
- Willing to work from the office based in Culford
Part time position from £20 ph (rate reviewed after 3 month probation)- flexible hours to suit
