We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts and processing payroll.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and managing Payroll for a team of 11 staff on Sage Payroll.
- Ensure accuracy of data entered into our Sage50 accounting system.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documents.
- Reconcile financial records.
- Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements.
- Process invoices, payments, and other transactions.
- Maintain records of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Credit control, including liaising with Customers
- Quarterly vat preparation and reporting.
- Journal preparation and processing.
- Purchase Order matching.
- Preparing information for the external accountant.
- General office admin duties ie answering the phone, filing, dealing with visits from customers & suppliers.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 per week
Salary: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
